Little Green Flatballs

What Fritz Katz Said to Piss-Off
the King of All Lizards and How He
Got His Gamey Buttocks Banned Off
the Little Green Footballs Blog …

The King of the Lizards gets pissy.
Background: European politician Geert Wilders gave a speech in
Florida. The ADL condemned his remarks as “antithetical
to American democratic ideals
“.

Master of the Little Green Footballs blog, Charles
Johnson, quotes the ADL without allowing any
alternative viewpoints, then major hissyness ensues.

However, Robert Spencer and ‘YID with LID‘ have an
alternative opinions you should consider (Go there
and read the whole thing!).Everyone is wondering:
How could the man who coined the term ‘anti-Idiotarian‘,
founder of one of the well-respected sites
on the right blogosphere …. become ‘Dhimwit-of-the-Month‘,
a tool of the Islamic terrorist-facilitators CAIR, and the
purveyor of a far-left hate site of weapons-grade
crazyness?

Early in a thread, Charles makes an
appearance and tells his followers how and what to
think. If you’re an LGFer you must up-ding his posts
here or suffer the consequences.

9 Dear LeaderCharles 4/30/09 2:38:03 pm +26
Wilders’ statements are about as un-American as it’s
possible to be. I’m finished giving him the benefit of
the doubt, and it’s beyond hypocritical of him to be
touting “freedom of expression” at the same time as
he advocates taking away the rights of Muslims.
Disgusting.
Those little numbers on the right of each banner are ‘karma’.
Many people on LGF have been banned for down-dinging
posts
of Charles or one of his cronies.

Just who does Charles think he is, calling people
‘un-American’? Joe McCarthy? My opinion? I think Geert Wilders is actually
un-American. In fact, he’s downright European.
After careful consderation of what Geert Wilders
actually said, I don’t think he is being fascist. I
think he’s just being European. Banning books, ideas,
religions, and people is something that less-civilized
cultures such as leftists, communists, fascists,
socialists, LGFers, and Europeans do. It’s
their knee-jerk response to a problem.

An American response would be to ban the bad behavior
and expose the evil ideas. Deporting Muslim criminals,
which Wilders does advocate, is certainly
a good start. That would be American, right?

20 Dear LeaderCharles 4/30/09 2:38:03 pm +20
Wilders is selling the view that all Muslims are
evil and must be expelled from Western society, the
Koran should be banned, and Islam should be outlawed
as a religion.Sorry. I am NOT down with that. .
.
Is Charles being intellectually dishonest here or
is he telling the truth? Did Wilders actually say
that or is Charles just blowing smoke? Is there any
way to know?Several posts pass and we see that there’s still
some intellect left at LGF… from someone presciently
named:.
57 Amused to Death 4/30/09 2:50:25 pm -25
Well, in the first place, it would be difficult to
“ban” islam. as a result of taqiyya amongst muslims,
that is lying in the name of the religion, a “group”
could “congregate” and do services in members’
houses or a place like that. nevertheless, i find it
hard to believe that charles johnson and everyone
else in this website is so against Geert Wilders.

He is standing up for Western civilization, something
that no other person or political party in Europe is
currently doing. you may not agree with all that he
says, but the ultimate message is there: democracy,
and fundamental freedoms. this man can’t live
in a house with his family, as a result of constant
death threats from muslims …in the Netherlands… as
a result of calling the Qur’an a “fascist” book.

Who else do you see doing this in the West, in a
dangerous Europe no less? The man is very brave and
should be commended by you people rather than
scorned. You guys just don’t understand, and so
I see no purpose in wasting my time here.

Bye now!

That’s our first Wilders flounce-off.

Amused‘s virtual beheading was followed by virtual cheers
from the LGF cybermob, eager to gobble up some of those
virtual karma points.

Honorary Yooper: Then don’t waste your time here.
There’s plenty of other sites amenable to your fascistic
leanings. Piss off. An entire 13 comments since 2007.
Sounds like a sleeper.

MandyManners: Buh-bye!

callahan23: What an incredibly fast Stinky today. Cudos.

Kragar (Proud to be Kafir): Go waste it somewhere else then.

see bs: I disagree.. I think we understand all too well.
Geert crossed a line.

DEZes: Can you say *POOF*

pre-Boomer Marine brat: Took you ALL of that to
finally get something right? DLTDHYITAOTWO!

Mithrax: “DLTDHYITAOTWO?” … Ok, I’ve been on the
net for a long long time, and lurking here for many
a year, and that my friend, is incomprehensible to me.

pre-Boomer Marine brat: It’s just th’ old … “don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out”

Oh fer gawd’s sake, people. Don’t you see that LGF is not
“Survior Island” and he wasn’t voted off? LGF is actually
“Lord of the Flies” Island and “Amused to Death” was
“Piggy”.
Still some intellect left, but I think SFGoth is probably next
to be voted off the island. There’s still some life left in zombie
but if he hangs around this crowd much longer it won’t be
long until he/she too joins the ranks of the un-dead.
Thom at #137 gets a -21 for questioning the ‘Dear
Leader’, and

calcajun screams: “Cleanup on aisle 137”.

Walter L. Newton: You chose to be a bigot? You’re crazy. Git.

haakondahl: Whoa. you’re drinking bin Laden’s Kool-Aid.

Charles: If you ever read anything at LGF that led you
to believe I’d be in favor of stripping away the right to
freedom of religion from Muslims, expelling them from
the country, or banning the Koran, you were very
seriously mistaken. (everyone gives Charles
a +14 for that remark).

HoosierHoops: You are a good man Charles with
a good heart.

And this question was asked by:

goddessoftheclassroom: “Is there a link to Wilder’s
entire speech?”

Wow!, someone else with a mind of her own. I’ll bet
she doesn’t last long in this monkey house with
all the other poo-flingers.

So, why not just quote what Wilders actually said?

The ‘Old Charles’ used to say “Go and read the whole
thing”. The ‘New Charles’ isn’t down with that. How many
karma points could the truth on LGF be worth?

Here’s the actual “Islam is not a religion” quote in full context
of Geert Wilders speech:

Let me tell you first, that Islam is not a religion. Islam is a
totalitarian political ideology. Islam hearts lies at the
Koran and the Koran is a book that calls for hatred, that
calls for violence, for murder, for terrorism, for war and
submission.

The Koran calls upon Muslims to kill Kuffars, non-Muslims.
The Koran describes Jews as monkeys and pigs, and
Churchill, and I agree with him, Churchill compared
the Koran, the book in the 50’s, to Adolf Hitlers book
Mein Kampf.

Ladies and Gentleman the core of the problem with Islam
is twofold, First, the commands of the Koran are not
limited by place or time, they apply for all time, to
all Muslims of the World.

Second, the Koran is Allah’s personal words that leaves
no room for interpretation, therefore, there is not such
a thing as a moderate Islam. Of course, there are many
moderate Muslims, but a moderate Islam does not exist.

As the Turkish Prime Minister Mr. Erdogan once rightfully
said, he said: “There is no moderate Islam, Islam is
Islam”

re: #607 Sharmuta

Additionally- if the koran was banned, most muslims
would be criminals worthy of having their citizenship
stripped and deported.

Geert says:

“I want the fascist Koran banned”.

Maybe if the Muslims could produce a non-fascist version (one
with all the anti-semitic hatred and calls for mass-murder removed)
then it wouldn’t have to be banned.
Europeans have laws against hate-speech.

“It wouldn’t have to be banned?” What planet are you living on?

It’s not going to be banned. This idea is an exceedingly
stupid pipe dream, dreamed by bigots.

Here’s the actual “Islam is not a religion” quote in full context of Geert
Wilders speech:

That is NOT the full quote in context. This is:

We should also stop pretending that Islam is a religion,
sure, it has religious symbols, but it’s not a religion.
It is a totalitarian ideology and the right to religious
freedom should not apply to Islam.

We should stop the mass immigration from Muslim countries. We have to stop it, today. No more immigrants from Muslim
countries. We have to stop the AlHaya (sp?).

We have to encourage the voluntary repatriation.

Interesting that you somehow missed the part in bold.

616 Dear LeaderCharles 5/01/09 9:02:33 am +7
And by the way, when Wilders says that he wants to
deport Muslim “criminals,” please note that if he gets
his way, Islam is outlawed, and the right to
freedom of religion is taken away from Muslims,
ALL Muslims will be criminals. This is just disgusting.
And I’m appalled that anyone who calls themselves
“American” could even consider it for one freaking
second.

I didn’t miss that part in bold. Firstly, the statement that “the
right to religious freedom should not apply to Islam

occurs much latter in the same article.
If I wanted to include that part, I’d have
to cut-n-paste the entire article. Secondly,
Wilders said that Islam is a totalitarian ideology and the
right to religious freedom should not apply to totalitarian
ideologies
. Interesting that you somehow missed that part in bold.

Why the “quotes” around “criminals”? They are criminals.
Europe’s prisons are filled with violent criminals from
Muslim countries — there are daily reports of honor
killings, rapes, anti-semitic harassment, drug-dealing,
… from all over Europe.

Why the quotes around “American”? Good “Americans” such
as Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, Lou Dobbs, Michelle
Malkin,…. all think it’s a good idea to deport illegal
alien criminals and so do I.

US prisons are filled with illegal aliens (estimated
at 33%). California could save billions in it’s bloated
budget by ‘outsourcing’ it’s prison population to
Latin American countries.

Wilders did not say to close ALL the mosques and
deport ALL the Muslims — he made three recommendations
in the article:

1. “stop the building of new mosques. As long as no
churches or synagogues are allowed to be built in countries like Saudi-Arabia we will not allow one
more new mosque in our western countries.” — that
sounds like reciprocity to me.

2. “Close all mosques where incitement to violence is
taking place.”

3. “Close all Islamic schools, for they are fascist institutions
and young children should not be educated an ideology
of hate and violence.”

There are thousands of instances where this has been
documented. You used
to report on them here at LGF
before you changed the direction of the site
leftward.

I notice that you completely ignored my point that by criminalizing
Islam itself, you make ALL Muslims criminals.

Why the quotes around “American”?

Because I wrote “people who call themselves ‘American’.”
The quotes are
appropriate.

1. “stop the building of new mosques. As long as no churches or
synagogues are allowed to be build in countries like Saudi-Arabia we
will not allow one more new mosque in our western countries.” — that

2. “Close all mosques where incitement to violence is taking place.”

3. “Close all Islamic schools, for they are fascist institutions

violence.”

You have never seen me write that we should ban the building
of mosques or close all Islamic schools. That’s a
bigoted and stupid thing to advocate.

The direction of LGF has not changed “leftward.” I refuse to
climb on board the fascist train with Geert Wilders and Pamela Geller.
That’s not “leftward.” It’s being sane and responsible,
instead of giving in to bigotry and idiocy.

.
Now I’m starting to wonder if Charles has lost
his “sanity” and powers of “rational thought”
(quote marks deliberate). I was pretty sure that I
said that Wilders was the one who advocated
stopping the building of new mosques and close
ONLY mosques where incitement is taking place
and Islamic schools that indoctrinate young
children to hate and violence. And how did
he make the mental leap of me ACCUSING HIM
of writing that we should “ban building
mosques or close all Islamic schools”?.

re: #628 Jimmah

Fritz Katz, you have remarkably similar views to a certain
Moe Katz that was banned from here last year.

I don’t think there’s any relation, but I’d have to ask my parents:
Tom and Alley.

“Leftward” is refusing to report, obfuscate, and distort the truth
in order to push an agenda. It’s what “leftward”
publications like Newsweak or the NYT do.

I notice that you completely ignored my point that by criminalizing Islam itself,
you make ALL Muslims criminals.

Let me make it clear, I don’t agree with Wilders
about banning books or religions. I don’t think
even Mein Kampf should be banned. We need to
point out their evil and expose them. Besides
banning books and religions is against the
US Bill of Rights.

But Wilders is a European and he’s certainly
being consistent in wanting to ban the Koran
since the Europeans also ban Mein Kampf. Wilders
points out chapter and verse where it calls
to murder the infidels.

Also at the link is where Wilders proposes to the Dutch
Parliament to ban Islam and his reasons:

Madam Speaker, I acknowledge that there are people
who call themselves Muslims and who respect our
laws. My party, the Freedom Party, has nothing
against such people, of course. However, the
Koran does have something against them. For it
is stated in the Koran in Sura 2, verse 85,
that those believers who do not believe
in everything the Koran states will be humiliated
and receive the severest punishment; which means
that they will roast in Hell.

In other words, people who call themselves Muslims
but who do not believe, for example, in Sura 9,
verse 30, which states that Jews and Christians
must be fought, or, for example, in Sura 5,
verse 38, which states that the hand of a thief
must be cut off, such people will be humiliated
and roast in Hell. Note that it is not me who is
making this up. All this can be found in the Koran.
The Koran also states that Muslims who believe
in only part of the Koran are in fact apostates,
and we know what has to happen to apostates.
They have to be killed.

Madam Speaker, the Koran is a book that incites
to violence. I remind the House that the
distribution of such texts is unlawful according
to Article 132 of our Penal Code. In addition,
the Koran incites to hatred and calls for murder
and mayhem. The distribution of such texts is
made punishable by Article 137(e). The Koran
is therefore a highly dangerous book; a book
which is completely against our legal order and
our democratic institutions. In this light,
it is an absolute necessity that the Koran be
banned for the defence and reinforcement of
our civilisation and our constitutional state.
I shall propose a second-reading motion to
that effect.
.

I think that it’s far more important to ban
repugnant and evil religious practices.
.

If I’d wanted to join a far-left hate site, there are so many better FAR-LEFT sites to choose from. What about DailyKOS or ThinkProgress? But, I’m a conservative and Leftist ideology is somthing I just won’t do.

I was completely snookered. I thought that Little Green Footballs cared about the truth and what was right.

Charles Johnson is the Jim Jones of bloggers. We’ve seen this happen before. We’re all waiting to hear that he’s taken his cultish followers to a jungle in Guyana,… of course a Leo Ryan will show up to try to talk them out of what they are going to do, but it won’t do any good… history will repeat itself again and again…

  2. Jim Jones? No. That’s far too menacing.
